What is Strong Authentication?
Strong Authentication is an additional security measure that requires you to enter a unique six-digit authentication code sent to you via SMS. When enabled, Strong Authentication will prompt you to enter a code every time you log in.
You can enable and disable Strong Authentication in your account settings. To enable, select then My Account. Next, select Strong Authentication and then click Send Code.
If you have Strong Authentication disabled, you will still be required to complete it to reset your account password, or if you log on to bet365 in a different state from where your account was registered. In Kentucky, Strong Authentication is also mandatory when logging in from a new device and must be completed every 14 days.
If network issues prevent Strong Authentication codes being sent via SMS, they will sent via email to your registered email address.
